8,Feb There was very unique memorial service in Wakamiya shrine in Nakaku near Osu (http://www.ohsu.co.jp/wakamiya.html). It was for the needles. The seamstress association gathered old needles and had a ceremony before abandon them. The Shinto priest had a service for this pinned clay cakes.
