Ice event in Osu

Ice carving in Osu shopping archade. It was a night event. 5 o'clock evening,14 artists stated carvings. I walked around the street. Big ice blocks became unique sculpute in an hour.

Shibori morning glory

Shibori news again. Last week eend I dyed a morning glory side. Her requested colour was sherbet orange. I mixed dye staffs that beige 1: orange 0.5. The fabric's dyed gentle orange. I needed a little more soft orange. Shibori work and dying work are totally different skill.

Purple Tombo

I have been making a summer Shibori Obi for my friend Shino who lives in Toyko. It will be a reversible Obi again. One side is the dragonfly. Another side is the morning glory. Last week I finished Shibori works both side up. Then I dyed a dragonfly side. However it became big trouble. Her requested colour was wisteria. I failed making up dye staffs. The fabric's dyed purple.I need to talk to her.

Miwa shrine

8,June. I visited to Miwa shrine monthly service. This service name is Daikoku-kou. We pray for a Daikoku deity who is a god of merchant. I hope it will work for me. After service we had a lunch. Miwa shrine, Nakaku, Osu 3-9-32. Daikoku-kou service. 8th day everymonth. Time 11:10-13:00

The pagents

The traditional pageants assembled in front of the Tokugawa museum at 3,June. Nagoya local comminuties own their pageants. All they have back stories. Most of them were came from before WW2. The eldest one is came from Edo period. The pageant turned a direction by people's hands. It was very hard job that 3 were lined up. Tokugawa art museum (http://www.tokugawa-art-museum.jp/)
