There was a doll memorial service in Osu temple at 6,Oct (http://www.ohsu.co.jp). It was for the Hat. The Nagoya doll association gathered old hats and had a ceremony before abandon them. But unfortunalty I missed all. I arrived there around 12:00. According to the information board said the service finished at 11:00. It was little unlucky day.
