Nagono shrine









Hatsumoude visiting shrine is still continued. I took the subway again. I arrived Nagono shrine near Marunouchi station. ( http://www.yumemusubi.com/mori/jinja/aichi/nagono.htm ). There is small old shrine and famous cherry blossom place. I will come to there in Spring again.

Omikuji





The aother picture of Japan's new year day custom. Omikuji is Japanese written fortune. People read it and tied it on the rope. They were left in the temple. Osu temple offical site http://www.ohsu.co.jp/kan_e.html

Osu temple






Japanese love a cue very much. I arrived Osu temple and found very long cue from temple. People made a cue and wait for their turn. It was passed the gate and continued to the street. It was wasting time. I gave up praying in Osu temple this day. The offical site http://www.ohsu.co.jp/kan_e.html

Osu shopping archade














1,Jan,2011. Afternoon I took the subway and droped by Osu. The Osu shopping archade started new year sales already. Banshouji temple is near entrance of the archade. (http://www.banshoji.or.jp/index.html). People came to praying there and then went to shopping.

Biyou Jinja shrine










Biyoujinja shrine is near my office as well. (http://www.biyoujinja.com/) After Gokosi Hachiman, I walked to Biyou shrine and paryed. At that time,I bought a charm. It was a small wooden plate and the shrine name written.

Hatsumoude








Hatsumoude Japanese custom at new year day 1,Jan,2011. People visit shrines and temples to pray for health and happiness for the coming year. Gokiso Hachiman shrine near my office.(http://www.gokiso.info/pc.php ). I used to visit t here at first every year.

New year day



New year day decoration. Kagami-mochi round rice cake in my room and the sacred straw rope at the door. They are small stuffs and that's all I did for new year day.
