Feeding

Ken's family and I stayed in Toki city during 13-15. We styed in the hotel. In the morning I found the swallow's nest under the roof when waited for a car. It was surprised they finished baby feeding and gone already at Nagoya. I could taking some bird's feeding photos until the car arrived.

Kushiri shrine

My British friend Ken Mathers and his family came to Japan for holiday. He has been Japanese archery Kyudo for long time and very eager to learn Honda school style Kyudo. I brought them to Kushiri shrine Dojo in Toki city,Gifu prefecture and set up a private lecture from the great master Mr Tokuda. It was the second time Ken met him. This time I and his wife had a training at there too.

Shibori Obi

Last week end finally I made up Shibori Obi for my friend Shino. One side is the dragonfly. Another side is the morning glory. Yesterday I posted it to her. I hope she likes it.

Sumo in Nagoya

Last Saturday afternoon I visited to Atsuta shrine (http://www.atsutajingu.or.jp/) to see Sumo ceremony. I arrived at there 45 minutes before the ceremony but unfortunatly little too late. I couldn't get good place to see. Sumo Nagoya tornament will be carried out during 8-22,July (http://www.sumo.or.jp/eng/index.html). Every year some executives and high ranked Sumo wrestlers joined the ceremony before the tornamant begin. Yokozuna Sumo champiogn dedicated Dohyoiri performance for God. Everyone want to see it.

Ice event in Osu

Ice carving in Osu shopping archade. It was a night event. 5 o'clock evening,14 artists stated carvings. I walked around the street. Big ice blocks became unique sculpute in an hour.

Shibori morning glory

Shibori news again. Last week eend I dyed a morning glory side. Her requested colour was sherbet orange. I mixed dye staffs that beige 1: orange 0.5. The fabric's dyed gentle orange. I needed a little more soft orange. Shibori work and dying work are totally different skill.
