Cherry blossoms

Yesterday evening I went to the tea ceremony lesson as usual. There is a big cherry tree in Miwa shrine garden. It was surprised. Last week tree had no flowers. But only a week and many flowers about 40% bloomed. I think next week this cherry tree will be high peak of bloom. Spring has come. This week end I will trip to take pictures of cherry blossoms.

Charity tea party

The charity tea party in Shiratori garden. There was a tea house near middle of the pond. This time we had Ryu-Rei table and chair tea serving style. The tea master was an architect. Shiratori Garden

Shiratori garden where near Atsuta shrine. Last Sunday there were charity tea ceremony and Hina doll exhibition. Today's payment will be donated to Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures. There was a garden house Kiyohatei and Hina dolls were displayed in main room. Small and fine work dolls were very cute and gorgeous. The offical site http://www.shirotori-garden.com/

Osu temple

Osu temple 18th day regular antique market day. It was fine day but just right after northen Japan earth quake. People were not mood for fun shopping. It was hard time for all stall sellers. The offical site http://www.ohsu.co.jp/kan_e.html

tea lesson

Every Thursday evening. I have Omote-Senke school tea ceremony lesson There is a Miwa shrine near Yabacho subway station. Here you are some pictures. There is simple tatami room changed tea ceremony lesson place.

Mochi throwing

Last event of this ceremony was Mochi rice cake throwing. People throw rice cakes from the stage. It was ball shape and size Mochis flight to the people. Very damagerous event.

Lucky charm strap

Lucky charm strap. The first picture is a pink tree. That tree was covered with hanged red polka dots printed fabric pieces. They marched and arrived at Tagata shrine. When they came thruough Torii gate,strap hunting started. The picture looks people were very friendly and shared straps in peace. But it wasn't true. It was almost fight and every people were very aggresive to get straps .
