Doll's funeral

Doll's funeral in Osu temple. It is one of Japanese traditional custom Ningyo Kuyo. People feel sorry for abandon dolls. They brought old dolls to the temple. Japanese hair

Japanese hair exhibition. The wig shop Kyouya Katsura ( http://www.tomoyou.com/kyouya/ ) had an exhibition in the department store. Maruei department store 10th floor ( http://www.maruei.ne.jp/ ). Japanese traditional hair style that they are the wigs but setting up process is same as Edo period.

Kashimori Shrine where is near center of Gifu city. I walked to there from
the festival place.

Gifu city Autumn festival

Gifu Autumn festival open street. Last week end event same day of Mitono Kimono fair. I closed my stall about 2 o'clock afternoon and I went to see another events. There was big street closed and people enjoyed the festival.

Yanagase street

Yanagase street where is a center of Gifu city and opposite of Mitono street. There were Autumn event at same day of Mitono kimono fair. Many stalls sell local foods and potteries.

Mitono cho Kimono fair

Mitono cho Kimono fair. There is Gifu city Mitono cho Kimono fair 2-3,Oct. I joined only 3,Oct Sunday. It was cloudy day and fortunatly rain wouldn't fall until 3 o'clock afternoon. Many people came to Mitono cho Kimono fair. The offical site English page http://www.mitonomachi.com/En/

Makiwara shooting

Kyudo 4th lesson. Today's lesson was Makiwara shooting training. Makiwara is the straw cusion for the arrow. We stand very close place to Makiwara and shoot an arrow without feather.
