Cherry blossoms

Last Sunday 8,April. I attended Miwa shrine monthly service Daikoku-kou. At that day they had another service for Inari at out side. It is a god of merchant too. I hope it will work for me. Miwa shrine has some cherry trees. After service we small group had a garden party under the cherry blossoms, Nakaku, Osu 3-9-32. Daikoku-kou service. 8th day everymonth. Time 11:10-13:00

三輪神社　中区大須3-9-32 大きな薄墨桜の木があります。3月下旬が見ごろです。

Kimono march

Kimono march in Tenpaku ward. There was another Kimono event at 7,April. Miss Tenpaku ward and other people wear Kimono dress and marched from the Hirabari undergrand station to the Ueda park.

Floating Kimono screens

Floating Kimono screens (Yuzen Nagashi) event was held at 7,April at Horikawa river in Kita ward of Nagoya city. In the ancient time,the Kimono Yuzen craftmen washed the draperies in the river in this season. The ward office and Nagoya Yuzen craftman represented this event. It was fine Spring day. Floating screens and cherry blossoms made gorgeous time for everyone.

Too early

Last Sunday I dropped by Higashi-Betsuin temple (http://www.ohigashi.net/). There is famous Sakura place and they held the cherry blossom festival. But unfortunatly it was too early. Cold Spring slow down blossoms. I thought 2 more weeks needed.
