Heian dress event 3

At the end of dressing event. A model took off whole dress at once. And they kept wearing shape looks like a doll. This is called Utsusemi and proof of wearing dress in right way.

Heian dress event in the orchid garden Ran no Yakata near Yabacho subway station. (http://www.rannoyakata.net/). Fortunatly we were allow to take pictures during whole show. The dress assistants put dress on a model in traditional way. They reproduced the Heian court culture on the stage. Master of ceremony explained each times and it was very useful to understand.

Heian dress event 1

Last Sunday I visited to the orchid garden Ran no Yakata near Yabacho subway station. (http://www.rannoyakata.net/). There held Heian dress event. The first ceremony was Shinto religious dance.

Ogasawara school

Ogasawara school Japanese traditional bow shooting ceremony in Atsuta shrine at 11,Febuary ,2012. 11:00-12:00. Fortunatly it was fine day. The ceremony was carried out at the garden. plum blossom

The plum blossom festival in Meijo park near Nagoya castle. Last week end during 2-5,Feb There were the event. The plum trees have beautiful blossoms in this month. It is early Spring flower. The gardeners made a miniature garden inside of the house. Plum trees and Bonsai plum trees were displayed.

Tea on the stage

The tea performance event in Okazaki Aeon shopping mall (http://okazaki-aeonmall.com/index.jsp). Last Saturday afternoon the music event was held there. Biwa Japanese traditional instruments were played and we served a tea. I made a tea on the stage with back ground Biwa music. It was a performance because I made a tea but didn't serve to anyone. I brought it back and wasted.
