Lunch party

We Isogai tea group had a lunch party at 29,Jan. There was a Meitetsu grand hotel 18F,the restaurant Iris (http://www.meitetsu-gh.co.jp/restaurant/cat02/). We celebrated for we could succeed to manage Hatsugama tea ceremony and we appreciated for each others. We had a good meals and nice chat for 2 hours. It was the greatest lunch in this month for me.

Shooting ceremony

Shinto religious Shooting ceremony in Atsuta shrine at 15,Jan. Six priests shooted total 34 arrows and would tell a fortune of 2012. The fortune teller said 2012 would be good. After shooting,people gathered around the big target and splitted off it piece by piece. They bring it back to home as a charm. The offical site http://www.atsutajingu.or.jp/

Hatsugama 2

Here you are little more pictures and details of Hatsugama. I worked as the receptionist. I stood near the gate whole day and made a tea in the room once a day. Everyday about 400 guests came. We staffs were about 20. It was hard time.　The garden and old houses and displayed tea utencils were beautiful. But I didn't have a time to enjoy them. Hatsugama 1

Last night our master gave me Photo CD-ROM of the Hatsugama which is the first tea ceremony of the year　　(http://www.m-inuyama-h.co.jp/urakuen/) during 1-6 January,2012. The tea room is the important cultural property and we students helped for the ceremony. I am so happy that I could have such great experience.　新年に行われた初釜の写真を頂きました。
