Kimono girls

A final event of the day. A model took off whole dress at once. The dress assistant put them on liittle girls. Dress total weight was near 5kg. They and their parents were pleased very much.

Heian dress event

Heian dress event in the orchid garden Ran no Yakata near Yabacho subway station. (http://www.rannoyakata.net/). Fortunatly we were allow to take pictures during whole show. The dress assistants put dress on a model in traditional way. They reproduced the Heian court culture on the stage. Master of ceremony explained each times and it was very useful to understand.

Orchid garden

Last Sunday I visited to the orchid garden Ran no Yakata near Yabacho subway station. (http://www.rannoyakata.net/). There was another Heian dress event too. Before show,I took a tea. The high school students who tea ceremony club members and their master served the tea for people.

Ikebana

The Ikebana Japanese flower arrangement exhibition in Meijo park near Nagoya castle. Last week end during 26-27,Feb There were the event. Ikebana Shougetsu club members displayed their works.

Heian dress event

Heian dress event in Tokugawa art museum (http://www.tokugawa-art-museum.jp/). It was related event with Hina doll festival 3,March. Most of Hina dolls wear Heian aristcracy's dress. (Heian period 794-1185) 26,Feb. the museum had an event to show how to wear Junihitoe Heian aristcracy's dress. The models wear dress on the stage with the dress assistants. Unfortunatly we couldn't take pictures of wearing process. We could take at end of show.
