Endoji Tanabata festival

Endoji Tanabata festival. Endoji shopping street in Nagoya city Nishi word. There is the one of eldest and biggest shopping street in Nagoya. The fluttered straps decoration is traditional custom for Tanabata festival. The streets were decorated and many stalls opened. Samurai summit

The world Samurai summit. There is a Samurai march festival in Nagoya. People wear the Samurai armours and marched at Nishiki street where is a central of city and famous shopping street. Nagoya city mayor Mr Kawamura joined a march as well. Why this festival called the world Sumurai summit? Because some foreigners joined a march. Nagoya antique fair

There is a biggest antique fair in Nagoya city. Nagoya Kottousai has started from today. 30,Jul-1,August. There are 200 stalls and really big fair. This afternoon I visited to there and walked around. http://www.nagoyakottousai.com/

There is Osu antique fair again. Summer and hot day is not good for stall keepers. The sales isn't good unfortunatly. Week day is not good neither. Half of regular customers didn't come today. Poor me. I took some pictures from my stall.

Kuniyoshi

There were so many Ukiyo artists at Edo period. I think the best artist
was Hokusai. However there were other great artists as well. My favourite

Evening festival

There is another an evening festival in small park. It was after 5 o'clock. People started festival and prepare dancing. Bon-Dance is Japan's summer custom that people wear Yukata and dance.

Small park and the pageant

I passed small park this afternoon. People prepare for the evening festivlal. There is a small park and not many stalls. But the pageant is gorgeous. It is big and the antique mechanism dolls are on top.
